The Lady Captain and ladies' committee organise many events and competitions throughout the year. These include fun competitions, some to raise money for the Section and some for charity, Open Events and Majors including the Challenge Cup, The Gold Medal, Lady Captain's Prize, Mr. Captain's Prize and Mr. President's Prize.

We also partake in exchange matches with other clubs.

Ladies' Day is Tuesday, although our "Business Ladies Section" gives those who are unable to play midweek the chance to play most of our competitions on an alternative day.

In addition, the Club holds regular mixed competitions and social events.

We also hold both an Open and an Invitation Bridge Drive, and throughout the winter bridge is played on Thursday afternoons.

We have an excellent golf course, wonderful catering facilities, a comfortable, welcoming club house and a well-stocked Professional's Shop.

We welcome lady golfers of all abilities, especially beginners, who can join a friendly club with a superb course and clubhouse, and first class coaching and teaching facilities. With no joining fee it's great value as well as great fun.
